PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entry determination apparatus capable of accurately determining whether or not a vehicle enters a road which is prohibited to enter.SOLUTION: An entry determination apparatus 10 for determining entry of a vehicle into a road prohibited to enter, comprises: a position determination unit 11 for determining the presence of a road prohibited to enter in the forward direction of vehicle traveling on the basis of map data including information showing a road section where entry is prohibited and of a vehicle position; a sign determination unit 12 for, using an image captured by an imaging device 30 mounted on the vehicle, determining the presence of no-entry signs on both right and left sides on a vehicle route respectively and also passage of the vehicle therebetween; and an entry determination unit 13 for determining entry of the vehicle into the road prohibited to enter when the position determination unit 11 determines the presence of the road prohibited to enter and also the sign determination unit 12 determines passage of the vehicle between the no-entry signs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
