PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting motor or the like which improves output efficiency.SOLUTION: An axial gap type superconducting motor comprises: a pair of rotors 40 and 50 in which permanent magnets 20 and 30 are provided; and a stator 70 in which a coil 60 formed from a superconducting wire is provided for each phase. The pair of rotors 40 and 50 that are arranged at both sides of the stator 70 are rotated by a reaction of a Lorentz force which is exerted upon a current flowing through the coil 60 by a magnetic field generated by the permanent magnets 20 and 30. The permanent magnet 20 provided in one rotor 40 and the permanent magnet 30 provided in the other rotor 50 are disposed oppositely in such a manner that magnetic poles having the same magnetic polarity face each other. The stator 70 includes a magnetic substance core 71 in a tabular and annular shape that is substantially vertical to a rotation center line Aof the rotors 40 and 50. The superconducting wire forming the coil 60 is wound around an annular portion of the magnetic substance core 71 substantially orthogonally to the magnetic field at both surface sides of the magnetic substance core 71.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
