PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information display system for a vehicle capable of displaying traffic information such as accident information in a form of enabling a driver of the vehicle to easily recognize the information.SOLUTION: A traffic information display system for a vehicle is a system inside the vehicle for displaying traffic information in front of the vehicle and a scene outside the vehicle in an overlapping manner. In order to prompt a lane change or vehicle stop, the system obtains accident information on a preceding vehicle that has to be notified as traffic information on the preceding vehicle through an on-vehicle communication device 101, and displays the accident information on the preceding vehicle obtained through the on-vehicle communication device 101 and the scene outside the vehicle in an overlapping manner on a display unit 111. The system three-dimensionally displays the accident information in a form in which the accident information on the preceding vehicle displayed on the display unit 111 in the overlapping manner is emphasized as approach speed to the preceding vehicle is higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
