PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently attenuate an arc that is generated between cut ends with cut-off of a conductor.SOLUTION: A conduction cutoff device C comprises: a conductor 20 including a cut part 22 in a long plate shape; an arc-extinguishing chamber 32; a gas generator 59; and a cutoff member 60 including a blade part 62. In the conduction cutoff device C, the cutoff member 60 is moved towards the arc-extinguishing chamber 32 by a gas that is generated by the gas generator 59, and the cut part 22 is cut in the arc-extinguishing chamber 32 by the blade part 62. In the cut part 22, a pair of cut ends are generated that are being separated from each other, and conduction between equipment forming an electric circuit is cut off. A fitting part 70 is provided in a region on an outer wall surface of the blade part 62 and between a position to which one of both the cut ends becomes closer and a position to which the other of both the cut ends becomes closer after the cut part 22 is cut by the blade part 62. On an inner wall surface of the arc-extinguishing member 32, a fitted part 45 is provided to which at least a part of the fitting part 70 is fitted while being brought into contact therewith.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
