PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission and reception system capable of optical transmission and reception even in high input.SOLUTION: An optical transmission and reception system 100 includes: a multiwavelength light source having N sets of light sources emitting N sets of light having a different oscillation wavelength, respectively, and emitting the N sets of light while multiplexing to one set of N channel wavelength multiplexed light; a multiwavelength light-receiving element having N sets of light-receiving element for receiving N sets of light of demultiplexed N channel wavelength multiplexed light, respectively; and a control loop for feeding back a signal indicating the signal intensity of light in any of the N sets of light-receiving element, and when the signal intensity is larger than a preset value, controlling the oscillation wavelength of a light source emitting light to the light-receiving element, so as to be out of a transmission band preset in a wavelength multiplexed element or a wavelength demultiplexed element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
