PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact orthogonal dual polarization antenna.SOLUTION: The antenna includes a tabular first antenna element which includes: an annular first conductor having a cavity and a notch; and a second conductor having one end connected to the inside of the ring and another end disposed with a first gap between with the inside of the ring. The antenna also includes a tabular second antenna element which includes: a contact conductor disposed in the notch; an annular third conductor having a second gap bridged with the contact conductor, and having a formed cavity; and a fourth conductor having one end connected to the inside of the ring and another end disposed with a third gap between with the inside of the ring. The first and second antenna elements are substantially orthogonal by each segment included in the region inside of each contour line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 48
