A method and apparatus for service control in an optical communications network. The method comprises: obtaining an interrupted service when a fiber break occurs; determining a service path in which the interrupted service is located; searching for a target replacement path for the service path; and switching the interrupted service according to the target replacement path. By means of the technical solution, optical layer scheduling is performed in time for an interrupted service when a fiber break occurs, so that the interrupted service can be restored rapidly and effectively, thereby satisfying the requirements on network survivability and protection, and providing guarantees for assumptions during network planning. |
