PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide assist wear which can easily adjust increase/decrease in expansion/contraction driving force of an assisting actuator when supporting the action of a living body, a method for controlling a control unit of the assist wear, a program for the control unit.SOLUTION: Assist wear 4 which is to be put on a body part of a living body 1 with an inner surface in contact with the body part includes: a plurality of assisting actuators 6 which are linearly disposed along an expansion/contraction direction of a muscle 1b of the body part when put on the body part and drive expansion/contraction; a plurality of contact sensors 87 which detect contact with an outer surface of the assist wear and include a first contact sensor and a second contact sensor disposed apart from the first contact sensor for a predetermined distance or longer; and a control part 8 which controls increase/decrease in an expansion/contraction driving force of an actuator corresponding a region from the first to second contact sensors when continuously receiving contact detection from at least one contact sensor 87 disposed between the first and second contact sensors during a total time t2 after receiving the first contact detection from the first contact sensor until receiving the second contact detection from the second contact sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
