PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video distribution device which can deliver a video, in which a change in a visual field direction is taken into consideration, in real time with high image quality.SOLUTION: The video distribution device includes: a compression unit which compresses a plurality of video data received from a plurality of imaging apparatuses which are disposed to be oriented to a plurality of different imaging directions; a communication control unit which transmits the plurality of compressed video data to a number of unspecified receivers, and receives a plurality of direction data indicative of visual field directions from the plurality of receivers; and a calculation unit which sets a video data compression rate of the compression unit in one imaging direction, on the basis of the rate of direction data, which indicates a visual field direction corresponding to one imaging direction among the plurality of imaging directions, relative to the total number of the direction data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
