PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator capable of improving power generating efficiency by performing power generation in response to various motions of waves.SOLUTION: A power generator includes a power generating part for converting tidal power to electricity, and a tidal power transmitting part 30 for transmitting tidal power to the power generating part. The tidal power transmitting part 30 includes the power generating part, a storing part 140 for storing fluid and a flowing part 80 stored in the storing part 140. The storing part 140 includes a pump flow passage 150 for feeding out fluid flowed by the flowing part 80 and a power generating flow passage 170 connected to the pump flow passage 150. The pump flow passage 150 includes a cylinder flow passage 151, communication flow passages 152, 153 making the cylinder flow passage 151 communicate with the power generating flow passage 170, valves 152a, 153a arranged in the inside of each of the communication flow passages 152, 153, and direct connection of at least any one of connection ports formed at the cylinder flow passage 151 with the communication flow passages 152, 153.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
