PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI scanning assembly and a method for providing high contrast images of several colors with high spatial resolution by fusing MRI images of a target taken at different magnetic field strengths.SOLUTION: An MRI scanning assembly 10 comprises: at least one MRI scanning device 12 generating a plurality of MRI images of a target 14, each one of the plurality of MRI images being associated with a pixel size; and a processing unit 23 configured to fuse at least one of the plurality of MRI images with at least remaining one of the plurality of MRI images having a pixel size different from the at least one MRI image to generate an improved image representation of at least a portion of the target 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
