PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet molding container usable as a carrying container such as the garden stuff.SOLUTION: A sheet molding container comprises a storage recessed part with an opening in an upper surface, a pair of outward flanges symmetrically provided in an opening part of the storage part and a pair of flaps extending outward from both ends of the opening along the longitudinal direction of the pair of flanges and freely bendable to the storage recessed part side via a bending line, where the pair of flaps form a takeout port of a storage object in the opening when bending to the storage recessed part side, and a recessed and projection part for holding a folding-back state by mutually detachably fitting, is provided in a folding-back part of respective both edges and the pair of flanges. A mutually engaging positioning recessed and projection part is also provided on a bottom surface of the flap and the storage recessed part, or an L-shaped projection part for engaging the bottom four corners of the storage recessed part is occasionally provided in the flap.
