PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of executing efficient heat exchange.SOLUTION: A tableware washing machine 1 comprises: a washing tank 9 for storing washing water used for washing pieces of tableware D; a drain part 51 in which drain water is discharged from the washing tank; an exhaust part 61 in which air containing steam is discharged from a washing room 2A; a first exhaust pipe 63 which is connected to a diameter expansion part 71 where the drain part and the exhaust part merge, and in which the drain water flowing from the drain part and the air containing steam flowing from the exhaust part are circulated; and a heat exchanger 80 having a water supply channel 85 in which water which serves as rinse water used for rinsing the pieces of tableware is circulated, and an exhaust channel 83 in which the drain water flowing from the first exhaust pipe and the air containing steam are circulated, and performing heat exchange between water circulated in the water supply channel and drain water and/or air containing steam circulated in the exhaust channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
