PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving flat spot resistance, high speed durability and road noise performance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes belt layers 7 having cords arranged obliquely in a tire circumferential direction on an outer peripheral side of a carcass layer 4 in a tread part 3, and a belt reinforcing layer 9 having organic fiber cords arranged along the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral side of the belt layers. The pneumatic tire uses the organic fiber cords made of aliphatic polyamide fiber whose glass transition temperature is 90°C to 170°C as organic fiber cords for the belt reinforcing layer. The organic fiber cords are arranged in such a manner that an index A=S×F×E/1000 obtained from the product of a load S (cN/dtex) at the 2% elongation, a nominal fineness F (dtex), and the number of cords to be driven E (pieces/25 mm) satisfies 59.6 to 67.5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
