PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film inhibiting generation of interference bands and of which a surface of a hard coat layer has high adhesiveness with an adhesive (wettability with the adhesive) after a saponification treatment without using a protective film on the surface of the hard coat layer.SOLUTION: There is provided a hard coat film having a hard coat layer containing an ionization radiation curable resin and a leveling agent arranged on at least a single-sided surface of a triacetyl cellulose (TAC) film, where a contact angle of water of a surface of the hard coat layer is 70 degree or less and a contact angle of hexadecane is 30 degree or less after a saponification treatment of the hard coat film with a saponification solution (alkaline aqueous solution).SELECTED DRAWING: None
