PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform recovery setting in cutting output and perform recovery output of all image data between cutting positions in printing on continuous form paper.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming section for forming an image on the basis of image data to be used in printing; a conveyance section for conveying a transfer medium; and a control section for controlling the conveyance and image formation. The control section sets a position for cutting a continuous transfer medium when forming an image in the continuous transfer medium and determines image data for starting re-output of recovery by using a set of images included between cutting positions as a unit when jam occurs in the continuous transfer medium during image formation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
