PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new label printer capable of automatically passing a label sheet having an exposed adhesive surface between cutter blades.SOLUTION: The label printer includes: a printing part for printing on a mountless label; cutter blades arranged in the downstream side of the printing part; a temporarily attaching part which is arranged in a position facing a label transport passage between the printing part and the cutter blades and on which the adhesive surface of the mountless label is temporarily attached; and a platen roller for pressing the mountless label to the printing part. The platen roller separates the label temporarily attached on the temporarily attaching part from the temporarily attaching part by back feeding the same and feeds the label to automatically pass the label between the cutter blades.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
