PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade rubber in which, even if being the blade rubber comprising a non-diene-based rubber material, a cured layer formed on the surface is made to be hard to be peeled off, and thereby a good wiping off performance is maintained over a long term.SOLUTION: A blade rubber is formed of EPDM being a non-diene-based rubber material, a cured layer HC is formed by graft polymerization reaction in the side surface 22a of a lip section 22 of the blade rubber, and the cured layer HC includes a hardness change area where hardness is gradually lowered as moving from the surface to the inside. Accordingly, the cured layer HC can be provided to gradually penetrate to the EPDM, and a clear boundary between the EPDM and the cured layer HC can be eliminated. The cured layer HC and the EPDM can be made to be hard to be peeled off to each other, and the flexibility of the blade rubber may not be damaged.
