PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment optical system that allows a simple configuration to transmit optimal lateral chromatic aberration correction data to an imaging device such as a camera and so on, and is attachable/detachable between an imaging optical system and the imaging device.SOLUTION: An attachment optical system includes: a reception unit that receives first information for lateral chromatic aberration correction of an imaging optical system; a computation unit that derives second information for the lateral chromatic aberration correction on the basis of the first information and a characteristic of the attachment optical system; and a transmission unit that transmits the second information to an imaging device. The first information and second information are information for acquiring an amount of lateral chromatic aberration at a zoom position, a focus position, and F-number on the basis of a ratio of an image height to be corrected on an imaging plane with respect to a maximum image height, and is an amount of deviation toward radial direction from optical axes of a blue/red with respect to a green, and a relationship between the image height to be corrected and the ratio with respect to the maximum image height is properly set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
