PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which increase in the cost can be suppressed while maintaining irradiation efficiency of light on an eye box.SOLUTION: A head-up display device 100 as an example of a display device includes: a light source 119 that emits a plurality of beams; a first lens 111 that substantially collimates the plurality of beams; a second lens 112 that diffuses the plurality of substantially collimated beams into a vertical direction (first direction) orthogonal to the propagation direction of the substantially collimated beams; a third lens 113 that diffuses the plurality of substantially collimated beams into a lateral direction (second direction) intersecting the vertical direction (first direction) when viewed in the propagation direction of the substantially collimated beams; and a liquid crystal display panel 118 that emits display light Lo in accordance with an image based on the plurality of beams passing through the first lens 111, the second lens 112 and the third lens 113.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
