PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network device that allows a network manager to grasp information on the setting and state of a network device easily without difficult operation.SOLUTION: A network device 1 includes: a control unit 500; a storage unit 520 for storing information on the setting and state of the device; and a plurality of ports 10-1 to N connected with communication cable. A display unit 20 includes a plurality of LEDs per port, and the control unit turns on each LED according to a light emission pattern corresponding to the information stored in the storage unit.
