PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect whether or not the waste toner amount in a storage container becomes the full state.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: a recovery container which stores waste toner; a near-full detection sensor which detects whether or not the waste toner amount becomes the near-full state smaller by a prescribed amount than the full state; a storage container which stores toner; a supply member which supplies toner to a development device; and a control part which calculates a transfer toner amount transferred to a sheet, a supply toner amount supplied to the development device and a recovery toner amount recovered in the recovery container. The control part obtains a calculation value obtained by subtracting the transfer toner amount after becoming the near-full state from the supply toner amount after becoming the near-full state as the recovery toner amount after becoming the near-full state, and determines the full state when the recovery toner amount after becoming the near-full state exceeds the prescribed amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
