PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve information input operability.SOLUTION: A mobile phone unit includes at least one key and an operation detection unit arranged on the key to detect an approaching object. An identifying unit (112) identifies an operation position on an operation surface and the type of the operation, on the basis of the contents of operation detected by the operation detection unit. A read unit (114) reads information associated with the operation position and the operation type, from a storage unit, on the basis of the identified operation position and operation type. The read information is displayed on a display unit.
