PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction of a working load imposed on a monitor without limiting the number and arrangement condition of cameras, and continuation of tracking without losing sight of a person as a tracking target.SOLUTION: A tracking support device includes a tracking target setting unit 24 for allowing a monitor to designate a moving object as a tracking target on an image of a camera 1 to set the moving object as the tracking target, a camera searching unit 25 for searching for a currently tracking camera which is currently tracking the moving object as the tracking target, a camera prediction unit 26 for predicting a subsequent camera which will subsequently image the moving object as the tracking object, a camera position presenting unit 27 for displaying a monitoring area map showing the position of the currently tracking camera, and a camera picture presenting unit 28 which displays the live video of each camera while highlighting the live videos of the currently tracking camera and the subsequent camera. The camera position presentation unit and the camera picture presentation unit display the monitored area map and the live video of the camera on different display windows, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
