PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tax refund system including a money exchange device and a tax refund system provided with the same so that a repayment procedure for a refund amount according to value-added tax paid when a foreign traveller purchases a duty free product not having a tax refund counter for paying refund money necessary and without having a staff member be resident.SOLUTION: A money exchange device includes a function of a tax refund means in addition to a normal money exchanging function and this tax refund means acquires personal information from a refund card storing personal information regarding a foreign traveller beforehand (S41), acquires registration information for accumulated tax amount, etc, for duty free object commodity purchased by the foreign traveller based on the acquired individual information regarding the foreign traveller (S44) and pays the refund amount according to the acquired accumulated duty free amount (S47).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
