PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device that enables shortening of time required for taking out or accommodating a hand rail in a car and can maintain the good state while maintaining appearance inside the car.SOLUTION: An elevator device 1 having a hoistway 2 provided in a building and a car 3 lifting/lowering in the hoistway 2 includes: hand rails 14 each provided to be movable in the vertical direction relative to an inner wall of the car 3; and drive units 31 each provided within the inner wall of the car 3 to drive the hand rail 14. The drive unit 31 includes: a drive motor 32 for generating driving force for moving the hand rail 14; and a drive mechanism 33 for driving the movement of the hand rail 14 between a use state where the hand rail 14 is pushed out from the inner wall surface of the car 3 to be protruded to the indoor central side of the car 3 and an accommodation state where the hand rail 14 is pulled back to be accommodated on the inner wall side of the car 3 by transmitting the driving force generated by the drive motor 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
