PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulp capable of manufacturing a fine cellulose fiber at high yield and low cost and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There are provided: a pulp having a cation group and supernatant yield of a fine cellulose fiber obtained by a micronizing treatment of 36% or more; and a manufacturing method of a cationized pulp by adding a cationization agent having a quaternary ammonium group and a group selected from a group consisting of an epoxy group, a functional group having a structure of halohydrin, a vinyl group, and a halogen group and an alkali compound to a pulp and reacting them, where physical amount of a solvent per 1 g of pulp absolute dry mass at reaction initiation is 5 to 150 mmol and the solvent is water.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
