CHEMICALLY STRENGTHENED GLASS LAMINATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass laminate having a reduced thickness without impairing the strength and/or sound attenuation characteristics.SOLUTION: A glass laminate includes: a first chemically strengthened glass sheet; a polymer interlayer formed over a principal surface of the first glass sheet; and a second strengthened glass sheet set apart from the first glass sheet through the polymer interlayer. The first glass sheet has a thickness of less than 1 mm, and a near-surface region under a compressive stress. The compressive stress (CS) at the surface of the first glass sheet is larger than 400 MPa. The glass laminate has a transmission loss of not exceeding 1 dB over a frequency range from 250 Hz to 5000 Hz, at any 100-Hz interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
