PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of suppressing accumulation of deposit onto a wall surface of an intake port while enjoying merits (for example, suppression of knocking) by cooling intake air in strengthening swirl flow.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine includes a LT cooling water circulation system including a LT cooling water flow channel, a LT cooling water circulation system including a HT cooling water flow channel, an intake port 26 including a first branch port portion 26a and a second branch port portion 26b connected to a common combustion chamber 40, and a SCV 30 constituted to strengthen swirl flow generated in a cylinder by limiting inflow of the intake air from the first branch port portion 26a to a combustion chamber 40. The first LT cooling water flow channel 20 includes a water jacket 50 covering the circumference of the second branch port portion 26b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
