PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate a needle-like stack for failure in successfully rotating due to the generation of a diameter difference between the diameter of a chuck and the outer diameter of the needle-like stack in a binder that grips the needle-like stack with the chuck to rotate the same and winds the outer periphery with a binding tape.SOLUTION: When a needle-like stack 3 with weight and number set is transported by a bucket conveyor as it remains unbound to come to an appropriately set binding position 4, the binder lifts up the needle-like stack with a lift 8 to raise the same up to the core of a chuck provided above in an open state in opposition, grips the needle-like stack by closing the chuck, and makes an upper press needle, which presses a binding tape delivered orthogonally to the needle-like stack from one chuck from above, project to the side of the needle-like stack, and a lower press needle project from the other chuck upon this projection so as to be applied to the bottom of the upper press needle, thereby clamping the binding tape with the upper press needle and the lower press needle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
