1. A method for predicting a potential future energy consumption of a plurality of energy loads in a built environment, the method comprising:
collecting a first set of statistical data associated with a plurality of energy consuming devices present in the built environment, wherein the first set of statistical data comprises a current energy consumption data and a past energy consumption data associated with each of the plurality of energy consuming devices, wherein the first set of statistical data being collected based on a first plurality of parameters and wherein the first set of statistical data being collected in real time; accumulating a second set of statistical data associated with each of a plurality of users present inside the built environment, wherein the second set of statistical data being accumulated based on a second plurality of parameters and wherein the second set of statistical data being accumulated in the real time; analyzing the first set of statistical data and the second set of statistical data, wherein the analyzing being performed by: aggregating the current energy consumption data of the first set of statistical data for the plurality of energy consuming devices into pre-defined bins of time; imputing one or more missing data points in an aggregated current energy consumption data by utilizing local polynomial interpolation; and estimating a residual standard deviation of the aggregated current energy consumption data for each pre-defined bin of time, wherein the first set of statistical data and the second set of statistical data being analyzed for determining a maximum consumption potential value of the built environment and wherein analysis of the first set of statistical data and the second set of statistical data generates a plurality of statistical results; and predicting a set of predictions associated with the potential future energy consumption of each of the plurality of energy consuming devices by adding a multiplication factor to an estimated residual standard deviation for each pre-defined bin of time, wherein the set of predictions being predicted in the real time. |
