A liquid crystal display device is provided with: a display panel 10 that carries out displaying and has a first substrate 30A, on a portion of the plate surface of which are formed a plurality of thin-film patterns 30L, and a second substrate 20A that is bonded to the first substrate 30A via a sealant 40 that is distributed in a shape that surrounds the thin-film patterns 30L; and a resin film 12 that is flexible, constitutes a portion of the thin-film patterns 30L, and is continuously distributed in a shape that protrudes into the outer side of the sealant 40 from the thin-film patterns 30L, wherein a metal wiring 13, in which a signal for driving the display panel 10 is transmitted at least to a portion located on the outer side of the sealant 40, is formed in the resin film 12. |
