This power conversion apparatus is provided with: an electric circuit element (111), which operates for the purpose of converting power, and which generates heat; and a cooling unit (105) for cooling the electric circuit element (111). The cooling unit (105) cools heat by means of air flowing from an inlet (119) to an outlet (122), said heat having been transferred from the electric circuit element (111). Furthermore, the cooling unit (105) transfers the heat to the inlet (119) and to at least a part of a frame body (120), i.e., a member surrounding the inlet (119), said heat having been generated by means of the electric circuit element (111). |
