PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corrosion of piping and the like using small power in a gas purification apparatus of a coal gasification system.SOLUTION: In a gas purification apparatus 300 including a water washing tower 161 purifying a crude gas produced from coal for coal gasification, a carbonyl sulfide converter 164, a humidifying part 152, and pipes 121, 122, 123, 124, and 128 for connecting them, the humidifying part 152 has a function of maintaining the humidity inside the pipes 121, 122, 123, 124, and 128 at 90% or more during a period when operation of a coal gasification system is halted. |
