PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diamond abrasive grain having a life longer than a conventional abrasive grain, to provide a method for producing the abrasive grain, a slurry having the diamond abrasive grain, and to provide a fixed abrasive grain-type wire.SOLUTION: A polycrystalline diamond abrasive grain comprises polycrystalline diamond free from a binder. The particle diameter (the maximum length) of the crystal of the polycrystalline diamond is <1 μm, and the average particle diameter of secondary particles of the polycrystalline diamond abrasive grain is ≥1 μm and ≤200 μm. The concentration of one kind of a carbon isotope in the polycrystalline diamond is ≥99.9 mass%. |
