Reinforced manual lifting sling

A reinforced manual lifting sling for carrying plate glass sheets comprising a webbing type material sling 1 that is strong and flexible over its entire length, and a central area that is reinforced with stainless steel wire rope 2. The central area will preferably have a second layer of webbing type material 3 that will be robustly stitched to the first webbing type material to secure the wire rope in place. The sling will preferably remain flexible and have a good resistance to breakage caused by cuts and abrasions. In further embodiments the handles of the sling may preferably have detachable or non-detachable handles.
