PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detection system and an ultrasonic flaw detection method with which it is possible to improve sensitivity.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic flaw detection system comprises an array sensor 2 having a plurality of ultrasonic elements 1, a flexible shoe 3 for making an ultrasonic wave propagated between the array sensor 2 and an inspection object 7, an ultrasonic flaw detector 5, and a computer 6. The computer 6 has a shoe shape analysis unit 16 for analyzing the shape of the shoe 3 that is pressed against the inspection object 7 and deformed, a sound velocity distribution analysis unit 17 for analyzing sound velocity distribution in the shoe 3 on the basis of the deformed shape of the shoe 3, and a delay time arithmetic unit 18 for calculating a delay time on the basis of the deformed shape of the shoe 3 and the sound velocity distribution in the shoe 3. The ultrasonic flaw detector 5 controls the plurality of ultrasonic elements 1 in accordance with the delay time calculated by the delay time arithmetic unit 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
