PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker capable of achieving reduction in leakage magnetic flux and reduction in thickness, and of reducing a rise in temperature of a magnetic body.SOLUTION: An induction heating apparatus has: a heating coil; a magnetic body installed below the heating coil and that forms a magnetic path of a magnetic flux generated from the heating coil; and a shield provided below the magnetic body and that supports the magnetic body. The shield has: a shield plate arranged below the heating coil; and a shield ring arranged around the heating coil.
