PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic composition for a contact lens capable of suppressing discoloration of the lens generated when a zinc compound is brought into contact with the contact lens.SOLUTION: An ophthalmic composition for a contact lens is prepared, which can suppress discoloration of the contact lens generated by contact with a zinc compound, by combining (B) ethylenediamine acetate, aminoacetic acid, hydroxyacetic acid and/or salts thereof, and (C) monoethanolamine, 2-amino-2-methyl-1, 3-propanediol and/or salts thereof, in addition to (A) a zinc compound. |
