PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding method in which the design of a sandwich molded article is not limited by the design of a thick portion of a surface layer of the sandwich molded article, in the sandwich molded article having partially different thickness of the surface layer, and to provide an injection molding machine.SOLUTION: The injection molding method includes: a substrate layer molding step of molding a substrate layer 9g; a die moving step of moving a second movable die 4b to a position opposed to a fixed die 2 holding the substrate layer 9g; a first injecting and charging step of charging a second die cavity 10a formed between the fixed die 2 holding the substrate layer 9g and the second movable die 4b with a non-expandable first resin 9b by injection, and filling the second die cavity 10a with the first resin 9b; a second die cavity expanding step of expanding the second die cavity 10a by a predetermined amount; and a second injecting and charging step of charging the first resin 9b in the second die cavity 10a with a second resin 10b by injection. |
