PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in image quality caused by gaps positioned between pixels composing an image.SOLUTION: When an image going to an oblique direction is formed, an auxiliary light-emitting element is lighted in addition to a main light-emitting element. More specifically, when a first irradiation position where one main light-emitting element emits light to a photoreceptor drum which is an exposure object and a second irradiation position where the other main light-emitting element positioned adjacent to the one main light-emitting element in a main scanning direction emits light to the photoreceptor drum are misaligned in a sub scanning direction, the auxiliary light-emitting element positioned between the one main light-emitting element and the other main light-emitting element in the main scanning direction is lighted. An auxiliary dot image by the auxiliary light-emitting element is formed between a main dot image formed by the emission of the main light-emitting element and another main dot image adjacent to the main dot image thereby. |
