PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power management system which can suppress a power consumption amount supplied from an electric power company to a preset value or lower even when it is difficult to suppress the power consumption amount to the preset value or lower only with a power saving measure such as an operation stop of an apparatus and a device and when a power amount monitoring device predicts that the power consumption amount exceeds the preset value, or when the power consumption amount supplied from the electric power company which is measured by the power amount monitoring device exceeds the preset value.SOLUTION: The power management system comprises: a demand monitoring device 11 which measures and monitors a power consumption amount; and a whole-quantity power selling system 21 which sells the whole amount of power generated by a solar power generator 22. When the demand monitoring device 11 predicts that the power consumption amount exceeds a contract power amount, a part or whole of the power generated by the solar in-house power generator 22 is switched from the power for selling to the power to be consumed. |
