PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure cooker capable of preventing release of a lid body by enabling regulation of removal movement in the outer direction of a pair of engaging members by a regulation mechanism, and by enabling regulation of unexpected movement of the pair of engaging members, and preventing unexpected removal of the lid body.SOLUTION: A pressure cooker includes: a container body 1; a lid body 2 capable of closing an opening part of the container body; and an operation mechanism 4 having a pair of engaging members 3, 3 movable reciprocally in different directions mutually in the radial direction of the lid body, for moving reciprocally between a fixed position where the lid body is fixed to the container body by allowing the pair of engaging members to be engaged simultaneously with each peripheral edge 2a of the container body and the lid body, and a removal position where the lid body is released from the container body by removing engaging action of the pair of engaging members to each peripheral edge of the container body and the lid body. A regulation mechanism for regulating unexpected movement of the pair of engaging members is provided at least on the fixed position where the lid body is fixed to the container body by allowing the pair of engaging members to be engaged simultaneously with each peripheral edge of the container body and the lid body. |
