PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a loop directional coupler reducing a coupling deviation within a use frequency band and reducing a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A loop directional coupler includes: a waveguide 20 in which a coupling hole 10 is formed in a wall surface; an outer conductor cover 30 provided on an outer wall surface of the waveguide 20 so as to electrically short-circuit each other and so as to cover the coupling hole 10; two coaxial lines 40 and 41 provided so as to penetrate the outer conductor cover 30; a conductor 50 provided in the inside of the outer conductor cover 30, and in which inner conductors of the coaxial lines 40 and 41 are connected to both ends, respectively, to form a coupling loop 60; and a projection 70 provided in the conductor 50. Providing the projection 70 in the conductor 50 allows a frequency characteristic of a degree of coupling to be changed, reducing a coupling deviation within a use frequency band. Further, a structure for adjusting a distance between the conductor 50 and the coupling hole 10 is not required, allowing a manufacturing cost to be reduced. |
