A surgical device comprising: a handle; an elongated body portion extending from the handle; and an end effector including: a cartridge assembly; an anvil assembly, at least one of the cartridge assembly and the anvil assembly movable relative to one another, the anvil assembly defining a slot; and an interchangeable tip having a proximal end sized and dimensioned to be received within the slot to releasably secure the interchangeable tip to the anvil assembly.
