An embodiment of the present invention provides a motor driving device comprising: a motor including a stator, around which a three-phase coil is wound, and a rotor which is arranged inside the stator and rotated by a magnetic field generated by the three-phase coil; an inverter including three-phase switching elements which are turned on and off such that a three-phase alternating current (AC) voltage is supplied to and disconnected from the three-phase coil, respectively; and a control unit which outputs an operation control signal used for determining, per one rotation of the rotor, an on-time period for a turn-on operation of each of the three-phase switching elements and an off-time period for a turn-off operation of each of the three-phase switching elements according to an optimal operation point which is calculated based on an inputted target instruction value and an electrical degree position of the rotor. According to the present invention, a switching efficiency of the inverter can be maximized. |
