PURPOSE: To obtain an ultrasonic motor with excellent stability capable of driving with a single drive signal without easily being effected by changes in environment. CONSTITUTION: Projections 107 for transmitting motive power to a moving body 108 are arranged alternately at the position near the boundary of electrode patterns 103a and 103b on one of the surfaces of a vibrating body 101 having a piezoelectric element 102 where electrode patterns 103a and 103b, with a multiple of 4 in number are formed almost at equal spacings with the magnification of 4 on one plane, moreover, a projected portion 100 for adjusting the vibrating conditions without transmitting motive power to a moving body 108 is provided between respective projections 107. |
