PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily inspect a battery-operated alarm unit 100 after installation when it is difficult to operate a power supply switch hidden by a body 1.SOLUTION: Operation of an inspection stop switch 13 for silencing an alarm is utilized. When the inspection stop switch 13 is depressed for a short time after installation, voice ringing such as "failure", "battery exhaustion", and "beyond an effective life" is performed according to data stored in an EEPROM 15. When the inspection stop switch 13 is depressed for a long time, ringing of a gas alarm and a CO alarm is performed. When the inspection stop switch 13 is depressed for a very long time, automatic initial inspection processing is performed and no failure detection is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
