The invention relates to a method for producing the leaf of a door (10, 80, 70) comprising an outer casing (16) made from a resistant harder material, especially sheet metal (19-21), overlapping with at least the visible or wide sides (18, 20) of said door leaf, and a filling material (22, 81) that has a consistency which is softer and less resistant when compared with said outer casing (16). In order to provide greater protection against burglaries, the leaf of the door is provided with a multilocking device (58, 59, 63) which is initially produced from a blank; the filling material (22, 81), together with a filling insert in the form of a longitudinal receiving block (25) made from machinable deformable material is firmly secured to the outer casing (16), said insert filling at least one section on the lock side of the front surface region (23) in which the multilocking device (58, 59, 60) is accommodated, whereupon at least one concave recess (35) for the multilocking device (58, 59, 63) is machined in the receiving block (25) from the lock side front surface outwards, after which the multilocking device (58,59, 63) is inserted into the at least one recess (35). |
