PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress problems caused by a continuous toner supply to a toner storage part in such a state that toner inside the toner storage part is not stirred.SOLUTION: A toner supply device includes: a toner cartridge for accommodating toner; a toner storage part for storing toner supplied from the toner cartridge; a toner detection sensor for detecting toner in the toner storage part; a conveyance member for supplying toner to downstream of the toner storage part; a cartridge driving source for rotatably driving the toner cartridge; a rotational body driving source for driving the conveyance member; and a control part for causing, on the basis of a detection result of the toner detection sensor, a series of supply operations by the toner cartridge to be started, and controlling, on the basis of the detection result of the toner detection sensor and information on driving of the conveyance member for every predetermined period after the series of supply operations are started, whether or not the series of supply operations by the toner cartridge are continued. |
